This is a look at the Regular Expressions (or “RegEx,” for short) that my “Sonic Sexualizers” feed looks for when it scans the Bluesky Social network for posts. I’ve simplified it to make it more readable than if you were to look at the code.
Including any of these terms (whether it’s written in the post or in the alt text of the art) will bring it to the feed as long as there is art attached with a content warning.
You can use it for reference in order to get your post on the feed if you don’t want to write out the full name of a character whose first name is too generic (Amy Rose, Vanilla the Rabbit, etc. etc.) for the feed to search for on its own, or if you don’t have the bandwidth to write alt text and just want to know what hashtag to include.
Most eligible posts should show up automatically, but if there’s anything missing that should be here you can DM me on Bluesky to suggest them. If you notice any notable characters are conspicuously absent from this, you can safely assume it is intentional. If we lived in a perfect world it wouldn’t be necessary, but things unfortunately get too messy if you don’t filter certain things out. No hard feelings.
Also note that I have multiple variants of names covered, with no spaces or capitalizations and whatnot, I just won’t be listing them here because it gets repetitive. Without further ado, the RegEx:
