Yes, the day has finally come - I finally finished my to-do list for feliciarondo.com. No more backlog, no more nagging unfinished nonsense I need to spend tons of time working on during the week, no nothing! The site’s officially gone gold!

Every publicly-available fan-fic and blog post that I wrote before I had this site is here, I figured out how to make images automatically-resize themselves, the About Me page is written, I even figured out rates for commissions, and I did it all while also writing and posting brand new stuff!

It’s been a long road getting here, largely thanks to my own procrastination. Getting hard work done is one thing, but getting tedious work is a whole other thing. I’m cutting myself some slack there, since I think the breaks I took helped clear my head and made sure I was doing better work when I was working.

And while I was working on bringing my old stories over to my website, I had to look over every single one of them to make sure I did it right - and in doing so, I spotted and fixed a lot of errors! Some of which had just been sitting there, unbeknownst to me, for years! I also took the opportunity to give all of my past stories a thorough editing pass, so every single story on this site is the best version of itself it’s ever been.

This all gave me an unprecedented opportunity to read each story again, most of which I read for the first time in many years! But as I worked linearly from my newest stories all the way back to my oldest, I noticed I could trace exactly where I was in my life through each one of them.

I’ve been through a lot and grown a lot since 2015, which is the earliest my fan-fiction archive goes on this site. I’ve met and gotten to know so many people, I’ve gotten and lost jobs, I’ve started and ended relationships - and it’s all there in my stories. The experience of going back and looking at my old writing, with as little judgment as I could manage, has been one of the most illuminating and fulfilling ones I’ve ever had.

I’m more independent from social media today than I’ve been since I started using it, I’m even more independent from third-party sites in putting myself out there in general than ever before, but more importantly? I’ve never had a fuller picture of myself, who I am, who I’ve been and who I wanna become.

Proud of me for that. :’)

Going forward, everything that gets put on this site is going to be all-new! Everything is in place for me to use this site exactly how I wanted to from the moment I decided to make it, so all that’s left for me to do is keep being a creative person and make the stuff I wanna make!

Thank you to everyone who’s helped me get here. Thank you to Cluster especially for being my motivation, my inspiration, and the greatest love I could ever have known in any timeline.

Here’s to whatever comes next!
